Re-igniting the spark in fitness

I've always been a big fan of health and fitness, so when some ex-Les Mills industry experts talked to me about the idea of re-igniting the spark in fitness for our increasingly sedentary and health challenged population, I was all over it. I co-founded the business in 2019, rolling up my sleeves to get stuck into everything needed to build the business case, build the business, design and build the facility and systems, launch and run it for its first 2 years.

Despite Covid shutting us down 4 months after opening, the business has achieved a number of huge milestones. Not only did we survive Covid, we've grown to 1000 members, launched a new studio, been awarded finalists at the national industry awards, licensed the workouts to gyms across New Zealand, attracted investor interest and most importantly achieved NPS (Net promoter score) of over 90%.
